Looking for a candidate with strong Casualty, GL/CGL, premises liability, professional liability, and heavy litigation experience. This is not a direct claims position, but will need to have a strong claims background. Including some auto, property, BI, PD and the position will have a strong risk management component as well but no worker's compensation.
Position Summary:
The Vice President, Client Services has responsibility for program and claim management for the Program for a flagship Retail Client.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Serves as single point of contact for the client; highly responsive to requests with the demonstrated ability to problem solve
· Acts as a critical link between the client, and Claim Operations in all aspects of Program Management
· Uses data and analytics to create program KPI’s and establish dominant priorities, including short and long term business plans
· Demonstrates effective project management skills by conveying and managing what, and when, deliverables from others are needed
· Coordinates with the client and the Claim Operations in establishing and driving claim handling functions including file handling, customer service, key initiatives and program objectives
· Identifies and aligns with client on opportunities to improve program management, processes, quality, and outcomes, and leads execution
· Provides oversight on the largest and most complex claims including litigation
· Conducts case reviews and evaluates claims staff performance through on-going review of claims statistics, open and closed file evaluations and observation of individual performance
· Evaluates training needs and works with branch leaders to develop and execute training
· Leads hiring, training, and success planning efforts to ensure long-term success of the program
· Individual in this role should demonstrate exceptional coaching, feedback, and leadership skills
Candidate Requirements:
§ Bachelor’s degree
§ Minimum of 10 years of experience in Client Services and Casualty Claim Management with an emphasis on Premises Liability
§ Prior supervisory or branch management experience required
§ Strong analytical and technical skills
§ Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices
§ Solid understanding of insurance companies, third party administrators, and the insurance brokerage business
§ Solid working knowledge of claims handling best practices
§ Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe Professional, and Power Point
