What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialist, Platforms & Tech position at Canvas Worldwide, LLC.?
The Specialist, Ad Operations will be responsible for ensuring the successful, on-time and high-quality implementation of Heineken’s digital marketing campaigns in conjunction with CANVAS media team members. A successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving, time management, and inter-personal skills as well as being able to function independently and contribute to efforts that ensure campaign operations run optimally.

- Viewability and Ad Verification (Moat, DoubleVerify, IAS)
- Audience Verification (Nielsen, Comscore)
- Brand Health Measurement (Dynata)
- Digital Media Workflow
- Programmatic Landscape and Workflow
Subject Matter Expertise
- Learn and master processes and systems related to the trafficking and workflow management of digital advertising campaigns
- Contribute to and present position statements, case studies and best practices around the deployment, integration and adaptation of new and existing digital marketing technologies
- Learn and master the setup and onboarding of digital third-party measurement platforms including Nielsen, Moat, etc.
Activation
- Work with creative agency to maintain creative taxonomy and creative library
- Streamline trafficking activation processes
- Work with additional measurement partners to ensure tracking is in place
- Liaise with clients directly to ensure their website it tagged for measurement success
- Learn internal measurement platforms and serve as the point person across teams
Team Support
- Primary day-to-day contact for technology and service partners, responsible for ensuring premium servicing of CANVAS and maintaining an updated knowledge of services and products
- Coordinate and provide training to internal media team on digital tools as needed
- Provide campaign activation support, including requesting links on test pages for pre-launch QA
- Serve as a point of escalation for troubleshooting implementation
- Track and manage viewability reports to ensure campaigns are meeting viewability thresholds and maintain an ongoing relationship with viewability partner DoubleVerify
- Oversee Ad Ops Dynata relationship to ensure tags are implemented and tracking properly
- Proficiency in ad tech including:
- Google Ad Products (specifically CM360)
- Video (VAST, VPAID, CTV)
- Display and Video Dynamic Creative
- Viewability and Ad Verification Platforms
- Project Management (Excel, Google Sheets, Smartsheets, Sharepoint, Zendesk)
- Exposure to basic coding (Javascript, HTML and CSS)
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively is crucial
- Experience trafficking high volume, quick-turn campaigns for large brands
- Demonstrated skills using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and/or similar presentation tools
- Extremely detail-oriented and precise
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to teach others with a variety of learning styles
- Can translate highly technical concepts into layman’s terms
- Public speaking and management skills
