Job Description
Job Title: Radiology Technician

Job Responsibilities:
· Prepares x-ray room
· Reviews schedules to prepare for clinic
· Insures clinic computers are up for the day
· Retrieves patient charts and brings patients to either the x-ray room or an exam room
· Performs radiography
· Logs in all patients receiving x-rays
· Returns digital images in a prompt manner
· Responsible for maintaining all x-ray files and handles all requests for x-rays
· Responsible for maintaining radiology equipment
· Prepare all x-rays for patients when requested, files all x-rays, cleans equipment and oversees all x-ray functions
· Provides excellent patient care
· Interfaces with Meditech and Shields support as needed
· Maintains electronic medical records as requested
· Handles requests by telephone or other means as requested
· Interacts with staff to insure excellent patient flow and care occurs during clinic hours
· Provides flexibility in coordinating schedule with practice needs
· Complete other duties as assigned under the supervision of providers and office management
· Performs other work related duties as assigned or requested
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Registered by the ARRT (or registry eligible)
- Licensed by the State of Massachusetts
- ARRT registered within 1 year of hire
