Description The Department Director has 24/7 responsibility for management of a specific assigned department(s) in the nursing service department. This is accomplished through planning, provision, coordination, and evaluation of department activities in support of medical care as directed by the
medical staff pursuant to the objectives, policies, mission, vision and core values of the organization. The Trauma Program Manager ensures compliance with the Trauma rules and regulations.
Requirements Currently licensed (unrestricted) in the State of Arkansas
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or appropriate discipline
BSN or MSN Preferred
3-5 years hospital experience in area and 1-3 years management experience preferred
BLS current upon hire
ACLS current or acquired within first 60 days of employment or by completion of orientation if orientation less than 60 day
Certification in area of Specialty
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary Work (Prolonged periods of sitting exerting up to 10 lbs force occasionally)
Standing/Walking Work (Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking)
Medium Work (Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
