- Create functional test cases and formal verification plans
- Report deviations and manage traceability matrix
- Set up device bench in the lab and report testing activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Informatics, Clinical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience
- Experience with HL7/FHIR medical device interfacing
- Detail-oriented, with demonstrated ability to assess and understand complex software applications
- Skilled in developing and executing comprehensive test scripts or protocols, with a focus on defect (failure mode) detection
- Proficient in developing functional test suites and test documentation/concepts
- Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Experience with embedded medical device testing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in investigating software defects, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
- Self-starter, willing and able to quickly learn new applications and technologies
- Experience with TCP/IP, WLAN, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory
- Good understanding of the V-model (requirements analysis, functional analysis, functional vs. non-functional requirements, component analysis)
- Knowledge of FDA regulations
- Proficient in testing highly critical, real-time, large-scale distributed client-server applications (preferably in healthcare)
- Proficient in server/client-based applications in Windows environments, including setup and testing
- Proficient in testing TCP/IP, WLAN, DNS, DHCP communication protocols
- Experience in testing Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
- Experience in managing testing teams in Agile/Scrum environments
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $36.98/hour - $57.79/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
