DIGITAL MARKETING INTERN
Job Summary - Essential Functions
The Digital Marketing Intern assists with digital content creation, including social media, and digital campaigns. This position will also analyze marketing data and report results.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and management of a monthly social media content calendar.Research topics, write copy and source visuals for daily/weekly social media posts across platforms in line with CATA’s brand and social media strategy.Capture, produce and/or edit visual content to be shared on social media (photos, video, gifs, graphics, reels, etc.).Assist with social media community management and response.Generate and brainstorm campaign ideas with digital team.Create content for CATA’s Beyond the Bus blog.Assist with web content creation and web development projects.Assist with miscellaneous digital projects as necessary.Analyze and report digital analytics to gauge success of campaigns.Additional responsibilities may include:
Assist with internal event planning and execution.Arrange and attend community events.Carry out administrative tasks.Other duties assigned.Reports To:

Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of AP Stylebook preferred.Possess or currently pursuing a degree in marketing, advertising, journalism or related field.Proficient in social media content creation and account management.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines often with short turn-around times.Proficient technology skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and other marketing-related software and application.Able to communicate effectively and work both independently and in a team environment.Able to perform essential functions and duties and to perform other tasks as assigned.Punctual and reliable attendance as necessary to meet ongoing service requirements for public transportation.Must possess a valid Michigan driver’s license with eligible driving status.Able to lift and move supplies, some in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
