SUMMARY
Overnight Cleaning Supervisor will assist the Facility Manager in overseeing the cleaning of the produce packing lines. The Overnight Cleaning Supervisor will make sure that all the production lines are cleaned and sanitized and ready for production in the morning.
Hours: Sunday-Thursday from 7 or 8pm until 3 or 4am.
Pay: $40k-$45k
$1,200 Signing Bonus to be paid throughout first year of employment!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Supervise Cleaners to ensure productivity (and all related supervisory duties)
· Ensure packing lines are cleaned effectively
· Monitor quality of cleaning performed.
· Make sure quality meets customer specifications
· Ensure that packing machines are in working order. Report any equipment that is not working properly
· Assist cleaners as necessary, including the following duties:
o Make sure all machines are cleaned and sanitized properly
o Make sure pallets are stacked and stored properly
o Assist cleaners as necessary
o Operate forklifts (following proper training)
o Operate electric and manual hand jacks (following proper training)
o Make sure all work surfaces are cleaned and sanitized properly
o Ensure all floors are swept and scrubber properly
· Ensuring established HACCP procedures are being used
· Create work orders in the EMaint software system for any items that need attention
· Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Occupational Safety Procedure and all Food Safety guidelines related to the position or being on the Warehouse floor.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages overnight cleaning employees. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Willing to learn specific knowledge of how to properly clean equipment and maintain a clean building. Knowledge and ability to monitor the quality of work. Knowledge or willingness to learn managing a team, redirecting employees and problem-solving skills.
Supervisory Experience – 2 years [preferred]
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally via phone, in person, and in writing. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret emails.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Some independent decision making, and problem-solving abilities are required to complete orders as well as assist staff and customers. Ability to perform basic math calculations
REASONING ABILITY
Independent decision making and problem-solving abilities are required to determine scheduling, goal setting, productivity standards, and process improvement. Logical thinking, the ability to manage multiple tasks and common sense are also necessary to accomplish tasks.
