What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Integrator position at Capital One - US?
This role will support/lead the technical design and implementation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems with a focus on delivering efficient, reliable, resilient, scalable, and high performing solutions. The System Integrator is accountable for partnering with various teams (internal and 3rd party technical teams) in identifying options, driving reviews, detailed analysis, developing solutions, and providing technical direction.
General Responsibilities:
Able to quickly understand business needs and translate these needs into technical solutions
Perform data profiling, data analysis using SQL and other technologies
Participate in governance forum
Support and perform testing required to ensure successful implementation of solutions into production
Implement standard patterns and solutions to increase design and implementation efficiency
Understanding of batch, stream, real-time data movement patterns
Recognize and implement automation opportunities
Actively solicit, analyze, and negotiate customer requirements
Assimilate information and requirements from a variety of sources into one comprehensive view
Leverage very strong analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal IT, business partners and third party vendors
Learn & analyze complex, interconnected business processes / systems
Translate requirements into technical specs for core IT teams to figure out how we are going to reach a solution
Manage multiple tasks / projects in a fast-paced and changing environment
Manage complex troubleshooting efforts that cross multiple platforms and technical
Identify technical obstacles early and work closely with teams to find creative solutions
Educate team members (including Tech, Agile Delivery Leads and Product Owners) on capabilities and constraints of technology platforms
Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teams
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
At least 2 years of experience in system and business analysis integration
At least 2 years of experience working in an Agile environment
At least 1 years of experience with Acceptance Test Driven Development
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years experience with systems integration
1 years of experience with network protocols, systems administration and application development
3 years prior experience interacting with Credit Card Processing Operations (Total System Services (TSYS), Origination, Customer Management, Collections, Fraud)
2 years experience with Databricks, Splunk, ServiceNow
2 years experience with restful APIs and services
2 years experience with Python
2 years experience with SQL
AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner, Solution Architect-Associate)
