THIS POSITION REPORTS TO (TITLE): Supervisor and Lead Positions
Position Purpose: Perform tasks required to provide food service to all customers.
Principle Accountabilities And Essential Duties Of The Job
- Prepares food according to production schedule using standardized recipes with emphasis on quality and food safety.
- Serves food appropriate to the needs of the customer and in conjunction with the diet order as appropriate.
- Clean and sanitize work area, utensils, etc. as assigned. Dispose of trash appropriately.
- Exhibits accuracy in portion control of food service and preparation or handling money when performing as a cashier.
- Demonstrates flexibility in work hours and shifts. Cross train to other duties as requested. Takes initiative to accomplish desired outcomes with minimal supervision.
- Maintains a professional manner and effective communication with supervisors, patients, visitors, staff and co-workers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
