Construction Supply Delivery Driver

Capital Tool is a proud locally owned and family operated distributor located in Columbus, Ohio. Leading the industry for nearly 40 years, Capital Tool excels at providing customers with on-demand delivery service to meet all of their job site needs. Specializing in nails and staples, we provide our customers a variety of options, along with compressors, pneumatic air guns, and other residential construction needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, hardworking individual to establish themselves at a growing, family operated company.

We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of products to job sites in the Columbus area
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Collect and process payments
• Fix pneumatic air guns and compressors to meet quality standards
• Receive shipments of product in warehouse
• Assist customers who come into store for order pickups
• Collect and process payments for customer
• Forklift driving
• Maintain and build customer relationships with a professional demeanor
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Capital Tool's product, pricing structure, and customer relationships.
• Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business, while maintaining and growing existing relationships
• Possess proven problem solving solutions for the customer and Capital Tool.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Skills

• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver or in warehouse setting
• Knowledge and experience in the building materials/construction industry a must
• Valid professional driver’s license with clean driving record
• Extremely motivated with a willingness to help whenever needed
• Strong attention to detail
• Spanish speaking is a plus but not required
• Able to lift up to 50lb boxes of product'
