The IS Infrastructure Manager works under the direction of the Director of Information Services and is responsible for ensuring that mission critical systems are available and meet performance criteria. The IS Infrastructure Manager will work with a team to design, support, and maintain: data networks, end-user computing hardware, and software systems contributing to the success of the Department. The IS Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for four areas of technology:

• Network Administration
• Data Security Administration
• Server Administration
• Client Technology Support

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Capitol City Produce is a multi-facility company. These responsibilities apply to all distribution centers.
• Configure, install, and maintain network hardware such as firewalls, switches, VLANs and wireless access points
• Manage a Windows Server 2016 environment utilizing services such as: Active Directory Domain Services, Remote Desktop Services, and DHCP/DNS
• Create, deploy, and manage Group Policy
• Provide administration for computer, email, and user accounts
• Provide technical support for everyday end-user computing systems, including but not limited to installing/troubleshooting computers, printers, mobile devices, software applications
• Lead technology projects, making recommendations for hardware solutions
• Responsible for keeping up with latest technology trends and suggesting innovative technologies
• Participates in developing department goals and objectives
• Coordinate and manage outside vendors and consultants
• Manage and develop IS Support Technician
• Manage and participate in after hours on-call rotation
• Occasional travel to other distribution centers
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year accredited college or university
• Minimum of seven (7) years of directly relevant experience or any appropriate combination of education and experience
• Certifications are preferred (MCP, Network , MCSE)
• In-depth experience with network hardware including but not limited to: configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches, VLANs, QoS, and wireless access points. VoIP experience is preferred.
• In depth experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop, Windows Server OS and Google Workspace
• In-depth experience with Active Directory, DHCP, Group Policy, and NTFS file/folder permissions
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication and writing skills
