What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content Manager position at Caplin Family Offices?
This position will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating and distributing compelling content to drive engagement, traffic, conversation and leads for each of the companies in the Caplin Family Offices’ portfolio which includes: 1901 Contracting, AE Engineering Inc., Providence Technology Solutions, Pulse Clinical Alliance, Smiling Kidds, and Trinity IT Services.
Performance Expectations
Primary responsibilities for the Content Manager include the following activities:
- Work with marketing team to help achieve overall annual content goals
- Develop annual content calendar for each company in the portfolio
- Research topics and develop engaging content for websites, white papers, case studies, emails, newsletters, blog posts, presentations, and more
- Adhere to brand standards and established voice for each company
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions
- Utilize available data to make or adjust content, as needed
- Continuously review all company sites within the portfolio to ensure content is fresh, relevant, and optimized for search engines
- Establish, archive, and manage all content-related files for the department
- Other content-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications for this position include the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, or other relevant field of study
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing content writing or content management experience
- Prior experience creating and managing content calendars
- Prior experience writing for B2B services
- Prior experience writing for a wide range of marketing including branding brochures, white papers, cases studies, websites, video scripts, social posts/ads, and email
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of SEO best practices
- Prior experience writing for multiple companies preferred
- Ability to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results
- Ability to work independently with a proven track record of meeting deadlines
- Exceptional writing, grammar, editing, spelling, and oral communication skills
- Strong organization & documentation skills
- Experience with website content management systems preferred
