Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Inventory Lead. The Warehouse Inventory Lead will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management within our warehouse facility. This position requires a proactive individual who can efficiently manage inventory levels, ensure accuracy in stock records, and coordinate with various departments to optimize inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Supervise and manage all aspects of inventory control, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.
- Implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with procurement and purchasing teams to ensure optimal stock levels based on demand forecasts.
- Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management.
- Train new employees on inventory procedures and protocols.
- Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse personnel to meet inventory objectives.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement best practices for inventory control.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on inventory analysis.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
