Summer Internship-Analyst

CSG Capital Investments, Inc. is a part of Beal Financial Services and we are currently looking to hire undergraduate students for a summer internship as an Analyst. Since 1988 our financial organization has successfully grown and prospered. We are a well capitalized investment group and are uniquely positioned in the current economic marketplace and are continuing to grow.
We are currently looking for candidates with superior academic performance, strong communication and interpersonal skills and solid quantitative skills. Interviews will be held the week of March 27 for this position. This is an on-site (non-remote) position based at our Plano, TX headquarters location.

Position Overview:
The summer intern program runs from June 1, 2023 – July 28, 2023. Interns will work closely with the investment team to execute transactions.

Requirements:
- Undergraduate student in a technical discipline, such as mathematics, statistics, chemistry, biology, engineering or any of the sciences.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication and above average presentation skills.
- Professional, positive attitude and demeanor.
- Undergraduate degree with GPA of at least 3.5.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of self-motivation, initiative, and time management.
Responsibilities:
- Involvement in the discovery, research and analysis of potential investments.
- Studying publicly filed documents and creating analytical models to understand the risk and return of an investment.
- Teams will present select transactions to senior management, including the president of the Bank.
- Expectation to take an active leadership role in the deal evaluation and team development.
