Overview:
Carbonxt is looking for Process Line Operator to fill a dynamic, hands-on position responsible for operating an activated carbon pellet extrusion line. The position requires excellent organization and communication skills, problem solving skills, ability to work independently, and ability to work effectively with service providers.
Schedule:
We are currently hiring for the following shfits:
- Weeknd shift: Thurs (6 hours), Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hours)
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability is a must!
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Willing to work overtime (periodically).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet company needs.
- The candidate must be willing to work outside, get dirty, operate heavy equipment and lift up to 45 pounds at a time.
- The facility runs 24 hours a day.
Responsibilities:
- Operate pellet process line.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
- Organize and maintain raw material inventory.
- Conduct finished product quality control.
- Develop and follow standard operating procedures as needed.
- Operate a forklift (will train).
Compensation & Benefits:
- $22-25/hr (minimum) inclusive of our generous benefits package including:
- Base hourly rate at $20-23/hr
- 90% coverage of the employee health insurance cost, along with 80% of your dependent cost.
