Web UI/Drupal Developer

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, project-centered, team-oriented atmosphere.
• Create high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions focusing on backend systems and related technologies.
• Conduct unit and integration tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of developed solutions.
• Identify and resolve bugs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Develop comprehensive test cases to ensure that design criteria are met.
• Produce well-written documentation for each requirement, detailing design, implementation, and usage.
• Communicate effectively with other developers and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain custom Drupal themes and modules.
• Perform site-building activities, including content types, views, and configurations.
• Ensure the security and performance of Drupal websites through regular updates and optimizations.
• Create responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with designers to implement and refine website designs.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards are met.
• Work on server-side scripting, database design, and integration with third-party services.
• Optimize website performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure systems functionality and stability.
• Write and maintain documentation for code and development processes.
• Collaborate with QA teams to address and resolve issues.
• Troubleshooting any systems issues such as delays, UI/UX bugs, and other errors or issues as they arise.
• Stay up to date with industry trends.
• Will work on other technology-based solutions like Java and .Net.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline and Drupal certification (optional but a plus)
• Proven experience with multiple frameworks.
• Familiarity with software development design patterns
• Expertise in API technologies
• Previous experience in writing unit tests using different technologies.
• Knowledge of markup languages such as JSON and YML.
• Working knowledge of quality and security scan technologies, including Coverity and WebInspect.
• Understanding of the Agile approach to software development.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development workflows.
• Knowledge of data migration from other sources into Drupal.
• Knowledge of web security best practices and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
