What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human resource coordinator position at Career Group?
Our client, a manufacturing company, is looking for a temporary Human Resources Coordinator!
This assignment starts asap and will last about 3-4 months, with potential to extend.
Hours : 9am 5pm
Fully onsite
Responsibilities :
- Oversee end-to-end onboarding process for new hires and internal conversions
- Offboarding : Conduct Exit Interviews, prepare termination documentation, update employment status in HRIS, collect company property (badge, credit cards, IT equipment, etc.),
- HRIS (Workday) : Auditing employee data and updating confidential employee information.
- Organize employee engagement initiatives for both hourly and salary employees
- Assist employees with all leave requests; address employee inquires related to company leaves and benefits, partner with Benefits Department;
oversee leave administration as needed
- Process workers compensation claims, review incident reports, partner with Safety and Operations to identify accident causes, file and track medical documentation and doctor’s visits
- Manage communication to all employees via monitors, Employee Roundtables emails, and Text-Em-All; coordinate Town Halls and review presentation slides as needed;
translating employee communications from English to Spanish.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related questions and concerns
- Manage sensitivity and confidential matters including employee relations, organization changes, and protects the security of information, data and files
- Ensure compliance and integrity of all HR systems data
- Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Other special projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Bilingual (Spanish) required
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
