Career Start is currently seeking a Chemical Operator for a food manufacturing facility. To be considered for the Chemical Operator, candidates must LO/TO, HAACP, HECP and chemical training. The Sanitation Operator will be responsible for cleaning circuits, drains, traps and checking proper chlorine levels at cooler.
Responsibilities of the Chemical Operator:
- Assist with cleaning circuits, set up, and perform pipe swings
- Check to ensure proper chlorine levels at cooler
- Clean drains, traps, and caps per cleaning scheduled and as required Ability to wear additional PPE while participating in a CIP not limited to: chemical suits and boots and face shield
- Report any damaged areas needing repair
Requirements Chemical Operator:
- High School or equivalent
- LO/TO, HAACP, HECP and chemical training required;
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather skid resistant work shoes/boot
- Ability to apply computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning.

Pay: From $16.66 per hour
