Yard Door Loader Job Responsibilities
- Handle all doors and door products with care to prevent damage.
- Display politeness and professionalism when interacting with customers, ensuring their door loads are managed efficiently.
- Stock shelves, organize aisles, and assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading tasks.
- Transport doors from the top of the ramp to designated areas within the yard.
- Build lifts for production, contributing to the efficiency of the operation.
- Maintain cleanliness by sweeping ramps, dusting glass surfaces, and performing other housekeeping duties.
- Assist yardmen in organizing products and loading trucks to optimize the workflow.
- Contribute to the exterior appearance of the store through landscaping, washing windows, and emptying garbage cans regularly.
- Maintain a courteous demeanor and appropriate conduct in the presence of customers, avoiding loud or disruptive behavior.
- Previous experience in yard & lumber preferred.
- Clean-cut appearance, friendly demeanor, and a positive attitude.
- Demonstrable aptitude for manual tasks and a willingness to learn.
- Strong customer service capabilities, with an emphasis on politeness and professionalism.
- Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a collaborative environment.
