Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
- Develop and modify moderately complex to complex engineering drawings for systems using AutoCAD software
- Maintains a library of project drawings
- Develop and implement standards, policies and procedures for a CADD system including methods for the management of CADD files relating to the creation, standardization, modification, archival, intra and intersystem transfer and plotting of files
- Responsible for phases of CADD operations and use of engineering software and electronic file management
- Assist engineers in the development of plans and projects, by creating schedules using MS Project and/or other tracking tools
- Create As-Built drawings from red-lined drawings for floor plans, P&IDs, isometric piping schematics, wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
- Conduct field surveys and field measurements to verify accuracy of drawings against as-built field conditions
- Responsible for management of engineering documents; Turnover Packages, O&M Manuals, Engineering Specifications, Design Documents for capital projects, management of drawing numberings system, equipment numbering system and CADD standards
- Ability to work with multiple Xrefs.
- Produce architectural, P&ID piping, structural, civil and electrical and control drawings in AutoCAD 2019 or greater
- Conduct all activities under cGMP and quality system requirements
- Support engineering projects by drafting change controls, capital funding requests, risk assessments, and other project tracking tools.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to organize time in order to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to read, understand, interpret and implement technical writing and instructions.
- Effective inter-personal relation skills, while maintaining the adaptability to achieve company goals.
- Verbally expresses ideas and facts in a clear, logical, concise and in accepted grammatical style.
- Knowledge of the standard terminology, techniques and practices of electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering and architectural drafting.
- Ability to render 3 D printable drawings from conceptual verbiage or sketched drawings.
