What are the responsibilities and job description for the District Sales Manager position at CareMax?
The District Sales Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining sales support activities within the areas they are aligned to (E.g., Broward within our South Florida market). Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Own KPI reporting in assigned District, coaching sales staff, overseeing sales training and onboarding, marketing support in assigned district, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Act a liaison to leadership (Regional Sales VP / Market Director) and individual sales agents
- Cascade organizational strategic initiatives to the field and ensure successful implementation
- Assist Sales leadership in various aspects of the business
- Ensure District goals are attainable; create monthly, quarterly, annual plan to reach and/or exceed sales targets
- Leads target metrics maintenance and distribution for the sales department
- Lead reporting to leadership
- Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education
- Leads coaching and performance improvement plans for sales agents aligned to sales agents and centers within District
- Create and manage event strategy for assigned District; deploy event calendar to ensure sales agents are maximizing ROI from grassroots campaigns
- Works with Broker Managers to support broker relationships
- Maintains and updates Policies and Procedures (SOP’s)
- Assist is agent sales reconciliation and commissions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Fully bilingual (Spanish) is a requirement; Creole is a plus
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Sales Management and/or experience in Medicare industry related to Sales
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills, as well as analytical skills to maximize efficacy in role
- Experience leading a large team and providing coaching to sales agents
- High skill level in with MS/Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) required
- Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and willingness to talk to various people and communicate with the internal and external agents, FMO’s, providers, and management team
- Strong knowledge of Medicare rules and regulations is a plus
- High School Diploma; bachelor’s degree a plus
