Principal Accountabilities
Operate packaging equipment including bagger, super sacker, and palletizer. Enter and reconcile production and inventory in SAP. Manage tasks through the operation of various computer programs. Create and apply product labeling in accordance with regulatory and quality standards. Make decisions based on silo management, quality requirements, and schedule demands. Collect finished product samples.
Operate forklift, trailer jockey, and inspect and load shipments. Unload and load raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished product using the warehouse storage racking system. Ensure compliance with state/interstate/global regulations when deciding on load pattern based on type and length of trailer being loaded. Reprocess dry product as needed. Maintain and monitor physical and product inventory and order packaging supplies.
Troubleshoot, repair, and participate in maintenance activities of packaging equipment, including preventative maintenance, and adjusting packaging equipment. Perform equipment lockouts and correctly issue work permits as needed.
Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Required Qualifications
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
High School diploma or Equivalent
Basic computer skills
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold
Ability to work in elevated areas
Must be able to operate machinery
Ability to work 12 hour rotating day shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as necessary including for vacation and sick coverage with advance notice
Preferred Qualifications
Packaging experience in an industrial setting
Forklift experience or willingness to be trained and certified
Mechanical aptitude including troubleshooting pneumatic and electrical systems
Experience working in a GMP facility
Experience loading and unloading trailers in compliance with shipping regulations
User knowledge in Microsoft Excel, SAP, and other labeling software
