Principal Accountabilities
- Conduct new hire Safety Orientation and JTP review
- Provide hands on training to all new hires
- Ensure proper ramp up is provided to all New hires
- Assist Supervisor with information to complete weekly New hire evaluations
- Oversee and enforce Safety practices throughout the facility
- Assist in the delivering of Safety training for line employees
- Assist with other Safety and Operations needs as requested
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to speak in-front of large groups
- Must be able to wear Metal mesh Personal protective equipment
- Must be willing to learn new production line jobs
- Must be flexible with work schedule
- Must be able to maintain acceptable performance levels
- Must be able to work independently
- Bilingual English – Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- Worked as a meat packing trainer
- 1 year experience as a knife worker in a meat packing plant
- Must be able to lift up to 80Lbs.
