What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cargo Screener position at Cargo Force?
Job Description:
The Cargo Screener is responsible for ensuring that all export cargo will be screened 100% in compliance with all safety and TSA regulations. Observe and reporting activities and incidents providing safety and security of client property and personnel.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include but not limited to:
- Identifying prohibited items in cargo via XRAY, ETD and physical search
- Verify documents lists correct piece count and correct contents
- Physical inspection of large items as required by the Transportation Security Administration.
- Preparing required reports, forms, and records required by the Transportation Security Administration
- Maintain working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures and regulations.
- Reporting all suspicious items found to management to determine correct course of action.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have reliable means of transportation
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs or more
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Must be able pass 10 year background check
- Must be able to work weekends / holidays
