Cargomatic is seeking an experienced and proactive Supervisor for Offshore Operations to play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our offshore teams' performance. This role involves bi-lingual skills, close collaboration with offshore users in Colombia & El Salvador, and a focus on providing 1:1 training, supervision, and cross-functional coordination. The Supervisor for Offshore Operations will ensure smooth operations, effective communication, and continuous improvement within the offshore teams.

Responsibilities:
- Offshore Team Supervision: Lead and supervise offshore teams to ensure their successful performance, adherence to processes, and delivery of high-quality outputs. Monitor work progress, address concerns, and provide guidance as needed.
- Bi-Lingual Proficiency is a plus but not required.
- Onsite and Remote Training: Conduct comprehensive 1:1 training sessions with offshore users, both onsite and remotely, to ensure they understand processes, expectations, and tools. Provide ongoing coaching to improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Cross-Training: Collaborate with various departments to gain a holistic understanding of the organization's operations. Utilize this knowledge to coach offshore users and enhance their comprehension of the broader business context.
- Responsibility Management: Oversee the allocation of new responsibilities to offshore teams, ensuring proper training, clear expectations, and successful execution. Maintain a close eye on performance metrics and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Reports and Systems Maintenance: Regularly update reports and systems related to offshore operations, including the offshore file and Activtrak. Ensure accurate tracking of user activities and performance.
- Offshore User Support: Serve as a point of contact for offshore users' inquiries, issues, and escalations. Provide timely and effective solutions to keep operations running smoothly.
- Collaboration and Alignment: Foster collaboration and alignment between offshore teams and other departments, promoting a seamless flow of information and optimizing operational efficiency.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to offshore operations, analyze data, and provide insights to drive performance improvements.
- Travel and On-Site Engagement: Travel to South & Central America to spend time with offshore users, understand their needs, and strengthen relationships. Use these insights to enhance training and supervision strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Additional certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in supervising and managing remote/offshore teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is highly advantageous but not required.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in using productivity tools, systems, and software.
- Willingness to travel to Bogota, Colombia & El Salvador, between 30-40% of the year.
The expected salary range for this role is $75,000 to $80,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
