Basic Function:
The primary purpose of this position is to direct the day-to-day human resource functions of the facility in accordance to current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations and as directed by the Administrator.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Compiles, maintains and updates a system of recordkeeping on current and past employees such as personal data, payroll information, attendance, vacation, PTO, new hire and termination information, compensation, benefits, tax data and worker’s compensation
- Ensures files and forms are kept complete, up to date and organized
- Manages Applicant Tracking System and new hire process
- Orients new employees to the facility
- Develops and maintains job descriptions and performance evaluations for all staff members
- Works in a highly responsible and confidential environment
- Ability to multi-task is essential
- Works in conjunction with administrator and department directors to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Job Requirements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Kronos and other HR software
- Experience in human resources management preferably in a long-term care or other healthcare facility required.
- Prefer Bachelor or Associates degree. Applicants with equivalent experience and training in Human Resources and a successful work history will also be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year
