Carl A. Nelson & Company is a commercial and industrial general contractor headquartered in Burlington, IA and has an immediate opening for a full-time non-exempt Receptionist. The position is responsible for assisting in the administration of our VOIP phone system, purchasing and programming cellular phones and monitoring billings for all phone services. Other responsibilities will include ordering office supplies, opening and preparing daily mail, greeting the public, supporting the Human Resource Department in various capacities such as company events, etc., and assisting other office staff with various administrative duties. Qualified candidate must have a high school diploma (or equivalent), 3 to 5 years of related experience, have outstanding phone etiquette, personable, energetic, self-motivated, accept challenges, and able to work with multiple managers. Candidate must have experience with Microsoft Office software. Carl A.
