Job Summary
Carl’s Place, a manufacturer and retailer of do-it-yourself golf simulator equipment, is seeking an experienced and driven Technical Product Specialist. This role will require developing deep technical knowledge of the simulator technology, software, and equipment in our offering in order to support the Customer Service Team and advise customers on successful simulator setups. As a member of the Customer Service Team, the Technical Product Specialist will use their product expertise to consult directly with our Golf Room Design customers, bringing their vision to life through technical drawings and product recommendations, and will also act as an internal consultant for technical setup questions within the team.
What you’ll do…
- Gain an intricate knowledge of the Carl’s Place product offering, including product compatibility and installation requirements
- Consult and assist customers with their design projects from initial consult through product recommendations and order completion as a Golf Room Design expert
- Create scaled technical designs and room plans using design software
- Document design project records and organize and maintain related files
- Professionally communicate with customers via phone and email, some chat assistance may be required
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of internal technical product resources
- Act as an internal technical product consultant resource for the Customer Service and Marketing teams as needed
- Maintain discretion with all company information regarding customers, pricing, products, and procedures.

- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of a consistent customer experience
Other Qualifications:
- A High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
- Experience with digital renderings or mock-ups and/or graphic design is strongly preferred
- Experience with customer support via phone, e-mail, and/or chat
- A fondness for and familiarity with golf is ideal, though not required

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
