Carla Properties Ltd of Portland, OR is seeking a seasoned and professional full-time Assistant Manager to join our team at Hawks Ridge Apartments (228 units), in Happy Valley, OR. We offer spacious 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartment homes with in unit washer & dryers. Be sure to ask about our employee discount. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A ASSISTANT MANAGER

As an Assistant Manager, you will greet visitors to the community, provide information about the property and engage in leasing activities. Your attention to detail assists you as you explain rental policies and oversee workflow including applications, rental agreements and move-in packages. You will use Yardi and Tenant Tech to enter data and to assist in producing accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports. You must be one who gets great satisfaction out of making sure that all resident issues are resolved in a professional and friendly manner.

The Assistant Manager supports the Resident Manager and is responsible for all tasks in the Resident Manager's absence. They are responsible for adhering to and enforcing company policy & procedures and consistently acting in the best of Carla Properties, Ltd. The Assistant Manager's specific duties may vary from site to site, depending on the property's requirements and the size of the staff, duties are assigned by the Resident Manager.


You love working with people and performing a variety of tasks throughout your day. Your Resident Manager enjoys working with you as you support their functions and workflow. You play an essential role in Carla Properties success!


QUALIFICATIONS

Must have 4 years of prior Leasing experience & 2 years of prior Assistant Manager experience. Skills required for the position include:

  • Excellent Customer service
  • Intermediate Computer skills
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and stellar organizational skills
  • Experience with Yardi and Tenant Tech a plus!


WORK SCHEDULE


This is a full-time position that requires working on the weekends, the work week is 39.5 hours, schedule is Tues - Sat with Sun/Mon as the days off. Weekdays 9am - 6pm; weekends 9am-5pm.
