What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Specialist position at Carlson Print Group?
Carlson Print Group is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team working in the trading card division! The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and be proficient in Excel. The position includes digitizing data stored on physical media by transferring or inputting the data into a standardized computer program and/or spreadsheets.
Primary Duties:
- Create, input, update, and maintain accurate data into computer systems and speadsheets, following set guidelines and procedures
- Review information for accuracy
- Ensure data integrity
- Organize transcribed data in spreadsheets and databases
- Execute many data entry projects simultaneously and prioritze them in a way that ensures all deadlines are met
- Actively seek ways to improve data entry efficiency and quality standards
- Work together with colleagues from other departments to resolve data inconsistencies and locate sources of missing data
- Assist with answering questions from colleagues and managers regarding data quality and consistency
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proficient in computerized data entry tasks, including using Excel
- Strong administrative and clerical skills
- Ability to work with databases efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate transcribing
- Strong organizational skills for effective data collection and filing
- Effective communication skills
