Our Fairbanks Westmark Hotel and Conference Center team is looking for a Room Attendant to join our Hotel Servies team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and sanitized by end of the shift in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Remove all used linen, terry cloth and rubbish upon guest departure, and stage for pickup in accordance with company guidelines.
- Report any technical issues and maintenance needs to housekeeping supervisor or leadership.
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years is required
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Dedicated commitment to a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment.
- Must be able to legally work in the United States.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Ability to regularly lift a minimum of 10-15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, chemical instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
- Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including all company health and safety standards.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and employees and problem solve.
- Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day.
