What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Partnership Sales Executive position at Carolina Hurricanes?
This position will be focused on bringing in new clients through the development of fully integrated partnerships; this includes selling in-arena assets (i.e. signage, video board, LED), media assets (i.e. Hurricanes Television, Hurricanes Radio), digital assets (i.e. Hurricanes.com, social media integrations) and in-market programs. Pay will be base salary plus commission structure.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and present fully integrated partnership proposals.
- Negotiate and work with Vice President of Corporate Partnerships, Sr. Manager Corporate Partnership Services and General Counsel through execution of partnership contract.
- Handle day-to-day communications with clients along with Sr. Manager Corporate Partnership Services.
- Work with Sr. Manager of Corporate Partnership Services to ensure proper fulfillment of partnership contract.
- Accountable for achieving revenue goals on a yearly basis.
- Prospect and open new relationships from referrals from current clients for fully integrated partnership programs.
Minimum Requirements: - Must have a minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in sports or media sales.
- College degree preferred
- Must be passionate about sales, exhibit high energy and be self-motivated.
- Must have excellent people skills, be very organized, have great writing and presentation skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word and have the ability to work on multiple tasks at a time.
- Must be able to work long hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays as required.
- Must pass a criminal background check and have valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
