Delivery Driver /Warehouse/Counter Sales
Provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders. Make pick-ups as necessary. Perform general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed. Perform all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material. Ensure material is properly organized. Load truck accurately and safely for customer deliveries. Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner at all times. Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect. Fill customer orders by retrieving material from the warehouse. Assist in maintaining appearance of store as needed. Know location of merchandise in warehouse. Keep material organized and put away. Provide assistance at counter if needed. Assist customers, ask pertinent questions, and provide information they may need. Answer telephones professionally and pleasantly, assist customers taking orders and provide excellent customer service. Drive company vehicle to make customer deliveries and stock pick-ups, obeying traffic laws and safety procedures. Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials and must have acceptable driving record. Unload truck as needed at customer locations. Perform other responsibilities as directed. Physical requirements While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly is required to lift 50 – 100 lbs. While not required, it is beneficial if employee can safely operate a forklift and pallet jack. ****Restaurant Experience is a Plus.
