Store Manager

Carpet Factory Outlet is a family owned and operated company that has been a leader in the local flooring industry since 1970. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead one of our four showrooms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people, excellent communications skills, a strong ability to manage a team, and know the carpet and flooring business. As the Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive customer experience and driving sales growth.

Job Responsibilities:

· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the showroom, ensuring it is properly staffed, well-maintained, organized, and visually appealing

· Work the sales floor as necessary individually contributing to the sales growth of the store

· Work with ownership to schedule, train, and hire showroom staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a knowledgeable and customer-focused team

· Work with ownership to implement promotional activities, displays, and events to drive foot traffic and increase sales

· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and individual growth.

· Working as a team with other sales staff to answer phones, handles inquiries, and offer an overall excellent customer experience.

· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth

· Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement

· Manage inventory levels, working with management to restock as necessary

· Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and general industry knowledge to effectively communicate the value of our products to customers

Requirements:

· Proven experience in a managerial role in the flooring or home improvement industry

· Strong leadership and team management skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Reliable vehicle

· Ability to work some nights and weekends

Salary: $35,000 to $50,000 plus bonus and commission

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
