What We Offer:
  • Hourly Rate: $20 to $25 Commission
    • Earning potential of $100K/annually
  • Full Time: 5-day work week (Monday – Saturday)

Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding service to determine customer’s overall design needs
  • Build strong client relationships and follow up on all jobs to ensure customer satisfaction or gain new project leads
  • Schedule design appointments to meet with customers in the showroom, client homes, or workplace
  • Keep up to date on the wide selection of products & services provided
  • Gather space/area measurements, calculate number of materials needed, create/present project proposals, and perform quality control throughout project
  • Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications and availability
  • Support all company initiatives and goals by modeling best practices
  • Manage time between the showroom and prospecting in the community
  • Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean
  • Additional duties will be outlined upon hiring

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ proven work experience in Retail Sales, Interior Design Assistant, Construction, or similar role
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, business management, interior design, or a similar field a plus
  • Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Basic computer/social media and math skills a must
  • Proper phone etiquette
  • Ability to utilize various forms of communication to follow up with vendors & clients
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Strong personal and professional judgment
  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants
  • Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
  • Advanced time management skills and detailed oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
  • Knowledge of flooring & design industry a plus (Willing to train)
  • Knowledge of RFMS & 20/20 (cabinet design) a plus (Willing to train)
