We offer the following:
  • Hourly Pay: $26 to $40 Commission & Bonuses
  • 90 days paid training
  • Full Time: 5-day work week (Monday to Saturday – retail hours & 2 Saturdays per month a must)

Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service and determine flooring needs
  • Keep up to date on the wide selection of products and services provided
  • Build strong client relationships and ensure follow up is completed on all jobs
  • Be point of contact for customer to provide following: flooring samples, review space/area measurements, calculate number of materials needed for project, create estimate/proposals, schedule installation team, perform quality control throughout project
  • Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications, availability, and order project materials
  • Manage time to prospect for new business when needed
  • Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ proven work experience in Flooring Retail Sales, Customer Service, Interior Design, or similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic computer/social media and math skills a must
  • Proper phone etiquette
  • A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, yet within a team setting
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Strong personal and professional judgment
  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants
  • Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
  • Ability to achieve sales goals effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Advanced time management skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Ability to operate a forklift a plus (Willing to train)
  • Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train)
  • Knowledge of flooring & design industry a plus (Willing to train)
  • Knowledge of RFMS & Measure Square a plus (Willing to train)
