Human Resources Administrator
Job Summary:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Acts as an information resource for employees, answering employee questions, providing information and resources.
- Manages onboarding process, including drug tests and background checks. Assists with development of onboarding plans. Handles offboarding activities as needed.
- Coordinates campus and community relations activities. Assists with event preparation.
- Partners with Human Resources team to manage electronic employee files and document retention.
- Conducts new hire orientation.
- Coordinates training and employee development activities, including continuing education
- Provides routine Human Resources reporting.
- Assist with employee communications activities, including Message of the Week
- Participates in policy review sessions and handbook updates.
- Contribute to a variety of Human Resources projects and initiatives, including benefits open enrollment, annual performance review process, and employee appreciation
- Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative and partnership mentality.
- Strong communication skills, oral and written.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Associates degree and two (2) years of human resources experience OR Bachelor’s Degree or one (1) year related experience
- Experience in a HRIS system strongly preferred
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
