Job Description

Job Purpose:

As Senior Property Manager of The Willard Office Building, this position will serve the interests of ownership and tenants, while also acting as a liaison between the office and The Willard Hotel.  The hotel and office together make The Willard Center, which is an iconic trophy asset in the heart of Washington, DC.  Through superior customer service and management of the asset, The Willard Office Building Senior Property Manager will be the ambassador of the building.

Duties:

·        Provide excellent tenant customer service through responding to tenant requests/problems in a timely and courteous manner, working with vendors and maintenance staff to resolve issues, and provide follow up with the tenant to ensure satisfactory resolution.  This includes ensuring that there is 24-hour emergency coverage for the property at all times.    

·        Oversee and ensure that all areas of the property are well maintained and demonstrate the highest quality presentation at all times    

·        Oversee and ensure that all operational systems are in working order and escalate outages/problems to the appropriate corporate contact and/or vendor.    

·        Extensive knowledge and understanding of finances with the ability to generate reports related to occupancy, renewals, retention, billing and accounts.  

·        Meet regularly with asset management, hotel management, restaurant management, and coworking center management to strategize and ensure collaboration, as well as to maximize revenue and cross-promotional opportunities.

·        Plan unique tenant-focused events aimed to enhance office occupants’ experience throughout  The Willard Center.   

·        Participate in the local community through outreach efforts, including networking, active participation on association boards, and volunteer work. 

·        Supervise and collaborate with the Chief Engineer and Assistant Property Manager to ensure a cohesive onsite team.

·        Institute Carr Workplaces Property Management standards and practices.

Qualifications

·        Resilient in the face of constraints, frustrations, or adversity. 

·        Provides reliable follow-up and consistently meets deadlines.  

·        Demonstrates attention to detail. 

Education/Experience:

·        Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.  

·        Minimum 7   years’ experience in property management, asset management, or hospitality role.  

·        Board experience a plus.  

·        Proficiency within Microsoft Office Suite.
