Job Responsibilities:
- Primary focus is to support the growth of CGL’s hydronic product lines including, but not limited to, Boilers, Radiant Tubing, Hydronic Accessories, and Water Heaters products, through pre-sale application support, quoting plan & spec take-offs, and design build projects.
- Provide back-up support to Inside Sales team.
- Provide joint sales calls with outside sales force to increase field knowledge of products.
- Drive new business through phone & in person sales calls with unassigned accounts.
- Promote products through lunch & learn, trade shows, contractor training events.
- Provide sales support, technical support & training to internal and external customers.
- Provide post sale jobsite visits to achieve problem resolution & customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and update project quote files.
- Analyze and manage product inventory levels to maximize sales and achieve good turns.
- Support and communicate with the sales force on product documentation.
- Establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing prompt and courteous service for all customers, both in person and over the phone.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years HVAC and/or plumbing sales experience.
- Qualified candidates will have both a business and a technical background.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good computer skills and common software literacy.
- Efficient at Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Solid critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational and planning skills.
- High level of personal accountability; sense of urgency and self-initiative is a must.
- Highly motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal direction required from management.
Qualifications:
- Experience or knowledge of working with HVAC contractors.
- Bachelor’s degree in HVAC, engineering, or business preferred.
- Knowledge of a distribution environment.
