This position will provide you with the unique opportunity to work within a risk management department with enterprise-wide responsibility of a company with a dynamic, global risk profile. As a member of the risk management team, this role will work with multiple Corporate and business functions, be highly involved and in certain cases leading risk management business partners, insurance brokers, insurers, and third-party administrators to ensure high quality global risk management services and solutions that deliver extraordinary customer service and the best outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Carrier Risk Management functional processes during due diligence and integration for Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures including functional responsibility for purchase/sale agreement, due diligence reports & report outs, identification of potential synergies, etc.
- Oversee Carrier Risk Management data exposure collection process for global insurance programs.
- Provide strategic Business direction and support on contract review standard exception process with assistance from insurance brokers as necessary.
- Manage RMIS systems and processes with utmost emphasis on data integrity, quality and timeliness of inputs and outputs. Lead systems’ business partner relationship.
- Assist the property risk/loss control processes and other related mitigation programs to reduce the likelihood and severity of exposures to loss.
- Own placement and service delivery of assigned insurance programs.
- Work with and support Carrier Risk Management program leaders on complex global insurance placements.
- Manage other duties and special projects as assigned by Director of Risk Management, to continually deliver a best-in-class, high-quality leading global Risk Management program for Carrier.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8 years of corporate risk management and/or insurance industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Insurance broker experience preferred
- RMIS system experience preferred (e.g., Origami, Riskonnect, Ventiv/RiskConsole, etc.)
- Industry designation(s) a plus (e.g. Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Associate in Risk Management, Associate in Claims, etc.)
- Process and detail-oriented

- Ability to demonstrate thought leadership
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Ability and desire to design and implement process improvements
