What are the responsibilities and job description for the START NOW: 2nd shift Warehouse/Assembly operator (weekly pay+benefits) position at Carrier?

Payment:
- For the 2nd shift our pay is $16.29 an hour. Any hours over 40hrs in a work week will be Paid Time-And-One Half Overtime (Overtime Pay: $24.44/hr)
Responsabilities:
- Perform quality checks as required
- Clean parts and/or sub-assemblies as required
- Position components and/or sub-assemblies in correct relationship by either manual means or by using locating fixtures.
- Repair damage to painted parts with brush or spray
- Package, carton and identify (stencil, etc.)
- Determine and record production counts
- Secure with mechanical fasteners (screws, clips, etc.) or adhesives
- Keep equipment and working area clean and in good order
- Check parts and alignment, setting aside faulty material and notifying Supervisor
- Connect to gas/air/electric test equipment and check as specified
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Responsible for quality and parts that meet customer expectations
- Meet customer deadlines
- Ability to acquire necessary skills/knowledge/certifications as required
- Take ownership for accuracy of processes
- Work successfully in a team environment & handle multiple tasks
- Effectively interact & communicate within team and other functional groups

Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent, preferred
Or
- If no High School Diploma/equivalent, must have 2 years of Manufacturing experience or 3 years of relevant continuous work experience
*Successful candidates who do not possess a high school diploma, or equivalent, must register with one of the two HiSet programs provided by Carrier Corporation and must be complete within one year.
