What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Technologist position at Carrington Health Center?
As our Radiology Tech at CHI St. Alexius Health Carrington Medical Center, you will help capture quality diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions. We would prefer a Mulit-Modalty Tech with CT, UltraSound, or Mammo...no experience, no problem! We will train!!
Every day you could perform any variety of imaging examinations which will be focused on general ultrasound with vascular and echo skills, to name a few. You will also need to enjoy working directly with people as you play a huge role in the patient experience.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing precise results for timely and accurate diagnosis.

Responsibilities
- Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients
- Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order
- Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity
- Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself
- Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures
Qualifications
- AAS Radiologic Technologist (RT) degree from accredited program
- Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registry eligible and registered within 12 months of hire
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist through the North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (ND MIRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
New grads are welcome to apply!
Preferred:
- One (1) year of previous Rad Tech experience
- Knowledgeable in basic computer skills; PACs, and Meditech
- CT, X-Ray and Ultra Sound or Mammo preferred.
