Tired of the big company you're-just-another-number work environment? Carroll Hardwood is a family-owned custom wood flooring manufacturer that has been making beautiful wood floors in Huntingdon for 34 years. We are a financially stable company of about 12 employees who work closely together on making wood flooring M-F 8-5 and some Saturdays 8-1. A substantial Saturday bonus is paid in addition to overtime.
You will learn how to make, grade, and bundle flooring made from Red and White Oak, Maple, Hickory, Walnut, Cherry, Pecan, Ash and other species. Your job duties may rotate through the day or the week and will include product grading and bundling for shipment
We are looking for two full time employees.
Responsibilities:
- Use tools and equipment safely. Safety is always first.
- Operate defect saw for wood flooring.
- Grade hardwood flooring.
- Bundle hardwood flooring.
- Assist with material handling.
- Operate hand and power tools.
- Measure materials.
- Communicate with co-workers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
