About the Role:
DI is seeking an individual to serve as a Regional Strategy Director (RSD) on the DI Sales team. Reporting to the National Director of Sales, the RSD will be responsible for helping to grow revenue for their assigned territory/region in the US. Primary emphasis will be focusing on current clients and driving upsells to add additional products and services.
Job Description:
Regional Strategy Director (RSD) will be responsible for identifying, creating and closing all upsell opportunities for current Dealer Inspire clients within their assigned POD territory, including Managed Services, Dig Adv, SEO, Display, Conversations and Online Shopper.
Responsibilities include participating on monthly performance review (MPR) calls, conducting SEO/Dig Ad audits, identifying product adoption GAP analysis across your assigned client portfolio, leading product demonstrations for DI’s complete suite of products and solutions and providing strategic digital marketing strategic recommendations for key decision makers at the dealership. In addition, the RSD will participate and coordinate on the daily scrum meetings with the Client Services (CS) team of performance managers within their POD to identify upsell opportunities within their portfolio.
Candidate should possess superior knowledge of the automotive industry best practices and processes. Should be proficient in presenting and leading strategic discussions and conducting product demonstrations for all DI product and software solutions and Media and Services offerings, i.e., SEO, SEM, and Managed Services.
Moderate travel may be required on an as needed basis to present to dealer groups in the region.
Commissions:
Goal: Upsell Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) goal for assigned current dealer clients within the assigned POD Territory
Emphasis: Current Client Upsells including OS, Conversations, SEO, Dig AD, Managed Services and Dealerrater.
Referrals: If client purchases (Buy/Sell) and/or adds a new dealership rooftop, the RSD will refer that new business opportunity to the applicable Regional Sales Executive (RSE) within their POD.
Commission Plan
● Up to 100% of combined territory MRR goal: 20% one-time commission paid on any upsell MRR amount
● >100% of combined territory MRR goal: Additional 50% one-time commission paid on any upsell MRR amount above goal.
● Any Closed/Won referral for new business MRR: 15% one-time commission. New Business MRR will not count toward monthly MRR upsell goal.
