Essential Job functions (Tasks, duties and responsibilities most important for the Job)
- General Distribution Center work (picking, packing, material handling, induction, etc.)
- Must be able to maintain minimum performance standards while performing required job functions.
- Must have the ability to perform the job with the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- Must have the flexibility, if instructed, to work in any General Warehouse function (anywhere in the building, any channel, at any time during the shift).
- The ability to use Radio Frequency (RF) equipment, voice picking technology, pick to light and other warehouse management systems.
- The ability to use basic computer functions as needed.
- The ability to be certified on lift equipment should this be required.
- Must have the ability to work safely and abide by all of Carter’s Safety rules and procedures.

- Other tasks as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS-MINIMUM COMPENTENCIES REQUIRED FOR JOB
- Basic working knowledge of computers, RF Scanners and Warehouse Management systems.
- Proven team member with skills to multi-task.
- Proficient reading skills.
- Must have the ability to abide by all of Carter’s policies and procedures, specifically the attendance policy.
PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or a GED preferred, not required.
- Six months automated distribution center experience preferred.
PHYSICAL and Work DEMANDS
- Must be able to repetitively lift cases weighing up to forty pounds.
- Must be able to stand and work for long periods including daily overtime, holidays and overtime as required. Must be able to work consecutive days during peak season.
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures.
- Holiday schedule to be decided by Management.
- Comply with blackout periods as determined by Management.

Salary : $29,800 - $37,800
