How You’ll Make an Impact:

The Coordinator, Paid Media will support the strategy, planning and execution of performance marketing and brand advertising campaigns for the Carter’s Retail Inc. portfolio of brands.  This person will have a fundamental understanding of media planning and campaign activation, 1-2 years of experience working in SEM and/or programmatic.  Preference is given to candidates who have worked in retail or at an agency. We are looking for a smart, passionate individual who wants to be part of a team focused on driving growth while keeping pace with the everchanging digital media landscape.

This role typically reports into the Director, Media & Multicultural Marketing, and is based in our Buckhead office in our on-site work environment. This role typically comes into the office 4 days a week.

70%: Partner with Director and agency to launch, manage, report, and optimize SEM and programmatic media campaigns.

  • Write creative briefs and deliver to creative team for asset creation; manage trafficking and asset delivery between internal creative teams and agency.
  • Collaborate with media agency to ensure accurate trafficking and delivery of creative assets, including QA.
  • Provide oversight of campaign delivery including optimizations to achieve spend and performance goals across platforms.
  • Build effective working relationships with cross functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on digital plans.
  • Serve as project manager for key media projects; own and drive projects through to completion - corralling internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely execution.
  • Manage channel budgets, including monthly reconciliation of media expenditures and resolving billing discrepancies.

30%: Manage analytics and reporting from multiple sources to closely monitor and optimize channel performance in conjunction with agency and internal media team.

  • Partner with marketing analytics team, dev and agency to ensure proper setup and implementation of campaign tracking and tagging.
  • Leverage dashboards and other reporting tools to analyze and optimize campaign performance.
  • Communicate week to week status and overall channel performance to key internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports, campaign recaps and insights.
  • Gather data on consumer, competitor, and market conditions.

Must have:

  • 1 year of experience in a SEM and/or Programmatic media role (brand or agency side) and a fundamental understanding of media planning principles and concepts across SEM and programmatic.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and field requests from multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills specifically power point and excel
  • Team player. Operates effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Time management skills and ability to shift between competing priorities.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience creating marketing and campaign performance reports.
  • eCommerce & Retail experience required.
  • Demonstrates a positive, professional attitude internally and externally.
  • Experience working in a direct marketing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications or related field.
