Parts Coordinator
As a Parts Coordinator at Carver Companies, you'll be responsible for managing and dispensing inventories of heavy construction equipment, heavy-duty diesel trucks, and pick-up truck parts. You'll handle various duties, including ordering, receiving, inspecting, sorting, and dispensing parts while adhering to company policies. In addition, you'll maintain accurate records, organize and ship exchange parts and returns, and ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained.
This position will be located in our shop in Fultonville, NY
Annual Salary Range for this role is $52,000-72,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense parts and supplies to authorized employees and mechanics
- Order and maintain parts inventories
- Receive supplies and store them in an organized manner
- Manage exchange parts and returns, including cores
- Submit paperwork to accounting as per policy
- Maintain accurate records of all parts transactions
- Operate and maintain all in-house equipment, including computers, calculators, and materials handling equipment
- Contribute to the overall operation and principles of the business
- To excel in this role, you'll need to have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of inventory management systems. You'll also need to be comfortable using various types of equipment and be able to work collaboratively with other team members.

- Prior experience/knowledge with heavy construction equipment, heavy-duty diesel trucks, and pick-up truck parts
- the ability to deal effectively and courteously with the public even in difficult situations,
- basic math skills,
- strength, stamina, and the ability to use proper lifting techniques to lift items, and
- the ability to pay careful attention to details such as parts catalogs and electronic inventory systems.
