Cary Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time RN Outpatient Manager. The successful applicant will provide leadership to staff in the department in an effort to provide quality, effective patient care. Create an environment of patient-centered compassionate care to all patients seeking care at Cary Medical Center. Assure that competent staff is available to provide services in a cost-conscious manner, working collaboratively with fellow staff and other allied professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Sets unit goals and objectives (in conjunction with physicians, staff, Primary Charge Nurse, and CNO) with pertinent completion dates.
- Integrates the various disciplines involved in the care of patients on the unit into an effective team to assist in integrating services across the continuum of care.
- Ensures that care is delivered with respect for individual’s rights and preferences.
- Maintains high standards of patient care using professional standards of care and practice.
- Provides a safe environment for all patients cared for within the department(s).
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have an active valid Maine RN license.
- Must have leadership experience or have demonstrated successful leadership qualities.
- Must communicate effectively, have good organizational skills and a working knowledge of the standards of practice and the standards of care in the department specialty.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical exemption is approved).
