Cascade Well and Pump Co. of Santa Barbara, CA, specializes in air and mud rotary drilling services. We are seeking a full-time Driller. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in water well drilling. Cascade Well and Pump Co. has been in business for 40 years and is built on three generations of experienced well drillers. Our service area includes Santa Barbara County and Ventura County.
We are looking for an experienced water well driller to operate a variety of mobile water well-drilling rigs and equipment to drill and monitor groundwater wells for residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural uses. Salary dependent on experience.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Ensure safe transportation of the drilling rig to the place of work.
- Set up and operate drilling rigs and other equipment to drill, bore and dig for residential, commercial, and industrial water wells
- Supervise the drilling operations and drill crew.
- Monitor the performance of the rig and the drilling equipment
- Install well screens, casings, and other well fixtures
- Document geological formations encountered
- Clean and disinfect wells in preparation for use
Required Skills:
- Must have Class A CDL
- Experience and sound knowledge about the use of drilling machinery and heavy equipment
- Experience in the method of drilling with air and mud rotary drilling
- Efficiency in work to complete job on schedule
- Good communication and leadership qualities to instruct the workers
- Salary dependent on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour
