Casco FCU is currently hiring a Branch Manager at our 393 Ossipee Trail, Gorham location. The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the branch including, but not limited to member service, lending, teller line, and human resource issues.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
· Processes loans from application to closing.
· Open new accounts and supervise other member service representatives within the branch.
· Assists with hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance within the branch; identifies performance problems and takes corrective action.
· Monitors branch activities to ensure established credit union policies and procedures are being followed.
· Proactively promotes a cross sales culture within the department, both by example and by training employees to identify opportunities.
· Ensure coaching sessions occur on a regular (monthly) basis and take corrective action if necessary.
· Represents the branch, as appropriate, in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations, suppliers and other financial institutions.
· Maintains knowledge of branch policies and procedures with respect to approving checks, overrides, and shared branching procedures.
· Handles member concerns. Counsels members with special needs or requests.
· Establishes priorities, efficiently allocates and manages time and resources.
· Gathers sufficient data for decision making and demonstrates sound judgment in making recommendations and takes action in a timely manner.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· This person must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Be a positive thinker with a strong member-centric philosophy.
· The branch manager must maintain a professional work environment, businesslike appearance, and maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.
